About
Legion I.O.T is an independent publication that explains the technologies connecting devices, data and money: the Internet of Things, cloud, blockchain and distributed ledgers, drones, quantum computing, cyber security, digital identity and artificial intelligence.
What we publish
The site has four kinds of page. Topic pages give plain-language explanations of each field. Deep dives are longer articles, each built on a named primary source such as a central bank report, a standards briefing or an academic paper. The ecosystem hub profiles 29 blockchain projects with live prices. Briefings track news and patents, and the glossary defines the vocabulary.
How we write
Our process is described in full on the editorial policy page. In short: we start from primary sources, rewrite them in our own words, cite them at the end of every article, and leave out claims we cannot verify. For example, we only list bank and blockchain partnerships that have been publicly confirmed.
What this site is not
Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Prices and market data come from third parties and may be delayed or wrong. Technology and regulation move quickly, so check dates and primary sources before relying on anything.
How the site is funded
Legion I.O.T is supported by display advertising and affiliate partnerships. Sponsored and affiliate links are labelled and carry rel="sponsored". A commercial relationship does not decide what we cover or what we say about it.
